Adjectives in Spanish to describe people

Descripción física

It is true that in Spanish, we can use adjectives to describe multiple nouns. However, there are some names that prefer some adjectives and not others. We say: he has short hair to refer to the length of the hair, but we never say he is short to refer to the person’s size, instead we use the adjective BAJO. This exercise is to familiarize you with proper adjectives to describe hair and eyes.

Say whether we’re talking about el pelo (hair) or los ojos (hair):

Marta tiene __________ rubio.
Marta has blond hair.

Andrés tiene _________ azules.
Andres has blue eyes.

Laura tiene _________ verdes.
Laura has green eyes.

Marcos tiene _________ castaños.
Marcos has Brown hair.

María tiene _____________ corto.
María has short hair.
