When to use “saber” and “conocer” in Spanish

The use of the verbs SABER and  CONOCER, even many times among them also the verb APRENDER, brings confusion; since they do not always correspond to their equivalents in English.

In addition, although they have specific characteristics and uses. There are moments and contexts in which they can be exchanged.

Saber is used to talk about knowledge we have acquired and conocer when we have had some form of experience with a person or thing that we know. Complete using the correct form of saber or conocer:
